London Fashion Week: Four: Street Style – The Cult of the Individual

I found day 3 more exciting for style pictures at London Fashion Week. It’s really interesting to see that more and more people at setting their style to outre’ these days. Although I’ve seen some bad editions of people jumping on the experimental fashion bandwagon, in a really ick way, on the whole I think it is exciting that people are tuned into dressing with imagination and effort (and by effort I mean creating/making things themselves, cooking up new styles).

Some years ago any unusual looking people were almost always linked with subcultures so interconnected with music and lifestyle  (punk, ska, goth and all that), but today the style is perhaps even better, but it seems more connected to the fashion/internet world than anything, which may prove arguably more transient/trivial. But I don’t give a monkeys, the cult of the individual is too fun to miss.
