With a career as a London based shoe designer spanning 5 decades, Terry de Havilland is possibly best known for his Margaux platform shoe, which celebrates it’s 40th birthday this year.
But this is not all for his Spring/Summer 2013 collection, which has a variety of high sandals and wedges in bold colour pops and prints. I think my favourite design is the Isis shoe, with all the beautiful colour (and I always love a platform, as they bring the glamour I want with enough practicality to get me through the day without wanting to throw painful heels off in a huff).
The look book is beautifully shot by Sarah Piantadosi and model Codie Young. The styling by Elli Grace Cumming, brings de Havillands glam rock roots into a modern context, with a dash of rock and roll. All in all very desirable imagery and designs – I am just in love with mixtures of tones, colours and metallics…have a look for yourself;
